;D 1. SANS has just raised the internet threat level to code YELLOW.
Code Yellow means:
"We are currently tracking a significant new threat. The impact is either unknown or expected to be minor to the infrastructure. However, local impact could be significant. Users are adviced to take immediate specific action to contain the impact. Example: 'MSBlaster' worm outbreak."
In the past worms such as Sasser, Blaster and the RPC exploit have elevated the threat level to yellow. This time there are several worms: 3 Windows remote exploits and one 0day Veritas exploit.
"[SANS ISC] believe it is only a matter of hours or at most days until [the exploit codes] are integrated into a worm."
Windows users should update ASAP.
Linux users, have some tea and be glad your not running windows.2. UPDATE: The Rbot Worm is now backpacking off Zotob.A and causing more chaos. Again, if you haven't updated its time to do so.
The patch can be found here:

All recent versions of windows are affected, including Windows XP SP2gudlak guys AM SAD
